The North Warren Chamber of Commerce has announce the second Nice Brant Lake Canoe Race is ready for Saturday, August seventh. Brant Lake, thought of the placement of the primary log drives in America, is positioned simply west of Lake George within the Adirondacks. Paddlers will start on the north finish of the lake and paddle 5.5 miles into the outlet, ending simply above the Mill Pond dam within the Hamlet of Horicon. The race begins close to the bridge on the north finish of Brant Lake at 9:30 am. The finishes at The Hub’s dock upstream from the Mill Pond bridge. There will likely be an award ceremony at 12:30 pm after the end at The Hub. There will likely be a prize for the most effective paddler costume.The race initially started within the Seventies and was run by area people volunteers.
